everything you need to know about:
brow lamination
-
Brow Lamination is great for those who love a full and fluffy brow
-
Brow lamination involves straightening and lifting the hairs using a solution (we use a Vegan, TGA FREE – this means no thioglycolic acid or its derivatives) which allows the hairs to have more flexibility to move them into your desired shape, therefore covering any gaps or stray areas.
After your natural brow hairs are straightened, a fixing solution is applied to keep the hairs straight, as well as a tint if desired. The result is fuller-looking brows that stay in place when brushed into shape, lasting around 6-8 weeks.
-
6-8 weeks if cared for properly
-
In the first 24 hours, avoid water, saunas, steam, direct sunlight, and sweaty workouts. Keeping your brows dry for the first 24 hours can help your service last as long as possible.
Use a moisturizing serum daily on brows (after 24hrs).
Do not apply make-up or receive any other eye treatments for at least 24hrs after your treatment.
Avoid sleeping on your face/brows the first night, as cromping can occur
Do not over touch the brow area after treatment.
DO NOT apply Retin-A, AHA, or exfoliate around brow area for three days after treatment. We recommend discontinuing the use of prescription retinol, accutane, ect for 3 months prior to booking your eyebrow lamination service. For over the counter retinoids and exfoliators we recommend stopping the use 10 days prior to your brow lamination service.
No self tanning products should be used on the face for two days after treatment. If you received a spray tan prior to your lamination apt. you should wait at least 5 days after to receive treatment.

A mascara brush will be given to you during your appointment. Brush through brows will a brow conditioning oil 3x each week to ensure your brows stay healthy and hydrated. We recommend brow code oil and have it available for purchase at the studio.
