everything you need to know about:

Body & Facial Hair Removal

  • We offer an array of hair removal options for any and all facial hair, and all skin types: Waxing, threading, and tweezing

If you’ve never had a reaction to waxing and aren’t using anything that would be a contraindication (check the FAQs for examples!), wax will be your quickest and most painless option. If you are using a topical or taking a medication that makes your skin more susceptible to reactions or sensitivity, but still want that nice clean look, threading will be your best friend. If neither of those work for you, or you’re going for a very natural brow shape, tweezing is where it’s at!

  • Gently exfoliate 24 hours before youor appointment

Have a least 2-3 weeks of growth. We need more than 1/4 inch hair - think the length of a grain of rice

Wear loose clothing to your appointment

People who use the following products should avoid waxing: Retin-A’s, retinols, acne medication (topical or oral), or any topical cream used on the face that was prescribed by a dermatologist.

If you have received a facial (medical or basic), please consult that esthetician on the timeline for your next wax. Other things that can cause sensitivity or reaction include, but are not limited to: antihistamines, stress, and medications.

  • No working out, swimming, sauna, sex, or jacuzzi for 48 hours post appointment. This allowsyour skin to heal an reduces risk of infections or ingrowns.

Moisturize after every shower with a skin oil to keep the skin from drying out as your hair is growing back. We love grapeseed oil!

After the first 74 hours, gently exfoliate 2-3 times each week to prevent ingrown hairs

  • Facial waxing is fine to do BEFORE your spray tan appointment. Please tell your esthetician so they can fully cleans all wax and oils off your face.

Doing any waxing service immediately or days after your tan may result in complete removal of your tan.

For body waxing, we highly recommend at least 24 hours BEFORE your spray tan appointment. This guarantees all wax residue and oils are off your skin and won’t block the absorption of the spray tan.

  • It truly depends on the area being waxed and the texture of the hair, but a general rule of thumb is at least the length of a grain of rice. If your hair is more coarse, or you generally shave on a regular basis, please grow it slightly longer.

It actually yields better results when the wax can properly grab and remove all the hairs. You’ll end up with a more smooth and clean wax!

Another great practice is to exfoliate the day or two before your wax. This ensures all the dead skin cells have been removed and won’t impede on hair removal.

  • If you recently got Botox/Injectables around your eyebrows/forehead area, we highly recommend waiting the two week settling period to do any brow waxing, threading, or tweezing. This ensures the muscles and Botox are set and won’t result in uneven eyebrows.

It’s best to get your brows done BEFORE your Botox and same goes for any sort of medical-grade facial. Tinting is fine to do at any point post-Botox.

  • Rest assured, you will always have a thorough consultation about your brow shape, and we’ll discuss any facial hair you do or do not want removed before diving in!

  • Sorry to my male clients out there, as I DO NOT perform male Brazilian’s, but I can make your bum, back, legs, or any other part of you a hairless wonder including those pesky nose and ear hairs!
